Responsibilities
- Collecting data about students’ behaviors through direct observation.
- Aiding Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) as directed with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans.
- Teaching students specific behavior skills outlined in treatment plans and fostering their social skills.
- Communicating behavioral intervention results to students' parents and caregivers.
- Preparing, entering, and updating all relevant data related to students on caseload.
- Recording students’ behaviors in measurable terms.
- Creating a skill acquisition plan for the student and implementing procedures to encourage the student's acquisition of the desired skill.
- Developing a behavior reduction plan and executing interventions and differential reinforcement procedures.
- Generating a complete report while adhering to all applicable legal, regulatory, and workplace requirements.
- Maintaining clear lines of communication and professional boundaries, and implementing supervisors' feedback to improve professional performance.
Requirements
- Have either completed or be in the process of completing your course credits and hours to become an RBT.
- Hold a High School Diploma.
- Possess a valid Georgia Driver’s License.
- Display effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Show strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively with others.
- Have experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products.
- Be able to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines accordingly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an RBT and having already completed testing to become an RBT.
