About the role
E-Therapy is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the 26/27 school year in Holly, MI. The position starts in August 2026 and is full-time (7 hours/day).
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Collect and record data on students' behavior and progress towards behavioral goals and objectives.
- Provide direct behavioral support and coaching to students in various settings.
- Utilize positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors and social skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to create and maintain a supportive and structured learning environment.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other members of the educational team.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program and certification through the BACB.
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities in a school setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of ABA principles, behavior intervention techniques, and positive behavior support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data collection and documentation.
- Experience in a school setting (preferred).
