About the role

E-Therapy is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the 26/27 school year in Holly, MI. The position starts in August 2026 and is full-time (7 hours/day).

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on students' behavior and progress towards behavioral goals and objectives.
  • Provide direct behavioral support and coaching to students in various settings.
  • Utilize positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors and social skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to create and maintain a supportive and structured learning environment.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other members of the educational team.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
  • Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program and certification through the BACB.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities in a school setting (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ABA principles, behavior intervention techniques, and positive behavior support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data collection and documentation.
  • Experience in a school setting (preferred).

Pay

$26/hour (commensurate with experience)

Schedule
