Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

At Blue Jay ABA, we specialize in delivering high-quality, in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
• Provide one-on-one behavior therapy sessions to individuals with ASD
• Collect and record data on client progress by using electronic data collection software
• Work with the supervising BCBA to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
• Ongoing communication with parents to review and monitor the client's progress
• Develop/create teaching materials and visuals
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Passionate about working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with families and children
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
