About the role
We are looking for professional, outgoing, energetic, and caring candidates with experience to work one-on-one with young children to help them meet and surpass their goals.
Responsibilities
- Provides one-on-one therapy to clients as well as leads or assists in peer play and social groups.
- Helps children acquire new skills and work towards individualized goals tailored for improving communication, social interaction, problem solving, and adaptive living skills.
- Uses proper teaching, behavior change, Mand training procedures, and data collection.
- Works with BCBAs and provides feedback on child’s progress.
- Teaches children appropriate social behaviors.
- Ensures children’s safety during indoor and outdoor activities.
- If needed, changes diapers/pull-ups and assists with potty training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is preferred but not required (must be obtained within the first 60 days of employment; training and assistance provided).
- Experience with ABA therapy is preferred but not required—we provide training.
- Ability to improvise and play with young children (ages 2-6) in various settings.
- Prior ABA experience is a plus.

Pay
RBT Pay Rate: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour. Behavior Technician starts at a probationary rate of $16.00 to $17.00 per hour until RBT credentialing is obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week). Center-based with home therapy also available.
