Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

Momentum ABA Services is currently hiring for a Registered Behavior Technician. This position is located in Huntly, IL, and is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Provides one-on-one ABA services to clients
• Understands and implements each client’s individual support plan under the supervision of the Behavior Analyst
• Provides feedback and insight to clinical team regarding client’s support plan
• Obtains and maintains Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Protects the health and safety of clients and fellow employees by following appropriate health and safety protocols and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet departments and/or business needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Current and valid RBT certification (not required)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with others
• Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements including criminal background check, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Able to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds
• Valid and current proof of legal right to drive (required)
