About the role

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a crucial role at LittleStar ABA Therapy. Our mission is to help individuals with autism improve their quality of life through personalized skill development using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized programs developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Use ABA techniques to teach new skills to patients in various settings such as therapy centers, homes, schools, workplaces, and communities
• Work closely with patients, families, and other staff members to enhance their lives
• Provide support and encouragement to help patients achieve their goals
• Adapt to new situations and continuously learn and grow

Requirements

• A passion for helping others, patience, and kindness
• Dependable and responsible
• Able to learn and adapt to new situations
• Able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other staff members
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physical activities
• RBT certification. If not certified at the time of offer, must be attained within the orientation/training period
