Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is one of the most important roles within LittleStar ABA Therapy. We use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help patients learn new skills that are beneficial to them and their families.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized programs written by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Provide one-on-one support to individuals on the autism spectrum.
• Work in various settings such as the therapy center, home, school, workplace, and community.
• Build relationships and have fun while providing care.

Qualifications and Skills

• A passion for helping others, patience, and kindness.
• Dependable and responsible.
• Able to learn and adapt to new situations.
• Able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other staff.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in physical activities.
• RBT certification. If not certified at time of offer, must be attained within the orientation/training period.

Pay and Schedule

Starting at $19/hour with benefits. Opportunity to increase pay at six and 12 months. Up to $500 in bonuses the first year. Schedules within the 8-5ish range during the week.
