Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 behavior interventions and skills training in various settings such as discrete trial training, naturalistic environment teaching, and social skills activities.
- Follow behavior plans developed by your supervising BCBA and communicate progress/concerns as needed.
- Utilize principles of ABA such as providing reinforcement.
- Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented.
- Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Mets regularly with supervising BCBA.
- Participates in company-wide projects as needed.
Requirements
- Must love working with children and having FUN!
- High School Diploma (Bachelor’s in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred)
- RBT certification or ability to obtain certification. Training for certification provided by KBAT.
- Experience working with children and/or individuals with ASD (preferred)
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills
- Be highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Must be able to work well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation
- Exhibit a professional and responsible work ethic
- Able to perform physical activity related to effective treatment, such as lift 45-50 pounds, sit on the floor, run after a child, and climb stairs repeatedly
- Pass a criminal background check
