Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 behavior interventions and skills training in various settings such as discrete trial training, naturalistic environment teaching, and social skills activities.
  • Follow behavior plans developed by your supervising BCBA and communicate progress/concerns as needed.
  • Utilize principles of ABA such as providing reinforcement.
  • Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented.
  • Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Mets regularly with supervising BCBA.
  • Participates in company-wide projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Must love working with children and having FUN!
  • High School Diploma (Bachelor’s in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred)
  • RBT certification or ability to obtain certification. Training for certification provided by KBAT.
  • Experience working with children and/or individuals with ASD (preferred)
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills
  • Be highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation
  • Exhibit a professional and responsible work ethic
  • Able to perform physical activity related to effective treatment, such as lift 45-50 pounds, sit on the floor, run after a child, and climb stairs repeatedly
  • Pass a criminal background check
