Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

Jade ABA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for afternoon, home‑based ABA cases located in Upper Marlboro (Poplar Dr & Awn Ct area), with additional opportunities in Bowie and Laurel. The role offers a consistent schedule within a close geographic area, allowing RBTs to combine nearby cases for more stable weekly hours while minimizing travel time.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children in home settings
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Collect data and track client progress accurately
• Collaborate with families and caregivers
• Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (required)
• Experience working with children, preferably with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in home‑based settings
• Reliable transportation (short‑distance travel between nearby cases)
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred but not required

Compensation & Schedule

$25.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience). Afternoon / after‑school hours. Opportunity to build 20–40 hours per week through nearby case assignments. Monday–Friday schedule (optional weekend opportunities available).
