Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBACollect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals
- Aid in the development of care plans tailored to individual needs
- Inform clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a cohesive approach
- Support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment for clients
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy
Requirements
- Registered Behavior Technician certification
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children
- Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively
- Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management techniques
- Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed medical records and care plans
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families
- Passion for helping others improve their lives through effective behavioral therapy
