Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Happy Hearts ABA, you will be responsible for implementing individualized ABA therapy programs for children with autism in their homes. You will work under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help learners develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Responsibilities Implement one-on-one ABA therapy programs designed by the supervising BCBA in the learner's home Collect and record accurate data on learner progress and behavior during each session Follow behavior intervention plans to address challenging behaviors with consistency and care Teach functional communication, social interaction, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA techniques Collaborate with the BCBA, caregivers, and other team members to ensure continuity of care and progress toward goals Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for the learner Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training as required Adhere to the BACB's Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Requirements RBT Credential with an active status through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Reliable transportation to travel to homes within the Pleasantville, NJ area Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and reference checks Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed Previous experience working with children with autism is preferred but not required

Requirements

• RBT Credential with an active status through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Reliable transportation to travel to homes within the Pleasantville, NJ area
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and reference checks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed
• Previous experience working with children with autism is preferred but not required

Pay
