Position Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to clients in their homes.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Accurately collect, record, and maintain data to monitor client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other members of the care team to support each client's individualized goals.
- Foster a safe, positive, and engaging environment that promotes learning and skill development.
- Support clients in developing communication, social, behavioral, adaptive, and daily living skills.
- Safely implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA, including working with clients who may exhibit physical aggression or other challenging behaviors.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Fluent in English.
- Certificate of completion for 40 Hour RBT Training.
- Valid CPR and First aid certificate.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Preferred
- Previous ABA therapy experience.
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Some college coursework in education, psychology, or a related field.
