Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

Advanceable ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a home‑based ABA therapy position. You will provide individualized 1:1 services in the child’s home, working in a natural environment where children feel comfortable and can build everyday skills.

What You’ll Do

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans directly with children.
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily‑living skills.
• Use evidence‑based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques.
• Track progress through accurate session data and clinical notes.
• Communicate professionally with families and members of the clinical team.
• Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training.
• Stay active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children.

What We’re Looking For

• Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain certification with support).
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Emporia area and surrounding locations.

Pay

$23–$29 per hour, based on experience and credentials.

Schedule

Part‑time, flexible schedules with afternoon and after‑school sessions (Monday–Friday) and weekends as needed. Typical workload is 15–25+ hours per week, depending on availability and client needs.
