Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

Advanceable ABA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for home‑based ABA therapy in Manakin‑Sabot, VA and surrounding areas. You will provide 1:1 in‑home services in the child’s natural environment, helping children with autism develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily‑living skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans directly with children in their homes.
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily‑living skills using evidence‑based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques.
• Track progress through accurate session data and clinical notes.
• Communicate professionally with families and members of the clinical team.
• Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training.
• Stay active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain certification with support).
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Manakin‑Sabot, VA area.

Pay

Earn $23‑$29 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time, flexible schedules. Afternoon and after‑school sessions Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed. 15–25+ hours per week depending on availability and client needs.
