Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Advanceable ABA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide home‑based ABA therapy for children with autism in Plymouth, NC and surrounding areas. This part‑time, flexible‑schedule position allows you to work in the child’s natural home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 in‑home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans to develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily‑living skills.
• Use evidence‑based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques.
• Track progress through accurate session data and clinical notes.
• Communicate professionally with families and members of the clinical team.
• Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training.
• Stay active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain certification with support).
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes throughout the Plymouth area.

Pay

Earn $23‑$29 per hour, with salary based on experience and credentials.

Schedule

Part‑time and full‑time positions are available. Shifts include afternoon and after‑school sessions, Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed. Typical workload is 15–25+ hours per week, depending on availability and client needs.
