Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

Advanceable ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide home‑based ABA therapy for children with autism. You will work in the child’s natural home environment, delivering individualized 1:1 services under the guidance of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Pay

Earn $24‑$28 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time and full‑time RBT positions are available. Shifts include afternoon and after‑school sessions (Monday–Friday) with weekends as needed. Hours range from 15 to 25+ per week, depending on your availability and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 in‑home ABA therapy under BCBA guidance
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans with children
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily‑living skills
• Use evidence‑based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Track progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicate professionally with families and clinical team members
• Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Stay active and engaged during sessions (sitting, squatting, walking, running, playing)

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain certification with support)
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Charlotte, NC area
