Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

Advanceable ABA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in Henderson, NC and surrounding areas for part‑time, flexible‑schedule home‑based ABA therapy. You’ll join a supportive clinical team dedicated to helping children with autism learn, grow, and thrive, providing services in the child’s natural environment where they feel comfortable and can build everyday skills.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily‑living skills
• Using evidence‑based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team
• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (or willingness to pursue certification with our support)
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Henderson area

Pay

Part‑time flexible schedules earn $24–$26 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time and full‑time positions available; afternoon and after‑school sessions Monday–Friday (weekends as needed); 15–25+ hours per week based on availability and client needs.
