About the role
Responsible for providing behavioral support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior plans
- Monitor and record daily progress towards goals
- Conduct assessments and data collection
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Provide positive reinforcement and corrective guidance
- Ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Passing score on a background check
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
