Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Able Stars ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to transforming lives through evidence-based practices and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in various settings (home, school, community).
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and progress during each session.
• Complete timely, individualized session notes meeting company and payer standards.
• Communicate effectively with your BCBA supervisor about client progress and any challenges encountered.
• Collaborate with families and team members to support client success.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment during therapy sessions.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Adhere to BACB guidelines, ethics, and all regulatory and funding source requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification from the BACB.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Strong observational, data collection, and communication skills.
• Comfortable using ABA software and Microsoft 365 applications on a personal device (phone/tablet/laptop).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks of the role, including lifting up to 35 lbs. and staying active with children throughout sessions.
