Registered Behavior Technician NEEDED IMMEDIATELY FOR THE FAYETTE AREA

About the role

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is needed immediately for the Fayette area. This position involves providing behavioral support services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
• Collect data and report progress to supervisors
• Train and assist family members in implementing behavior strategies
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Passing score on the RBT certification exam
• Experience working with individuals with ASD preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or related field
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles
• Proficient in using software for data collection and reporting

• Excellent observational and assessment skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
