What You’ll Do
Support children in developing communication, problem-solving, and social skills through structured, play-based activities. Sessions take place in the child’s home, clinic, or school, lasting 2–3 hours. Tailor your caseload to fit your availability and match you with age groups you’re comfortable with, from toddlers to teens.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and record data on client progress accurately
- Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions

What We’re Looking For
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
- 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
- Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification.
- Preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus!
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients
Qualifications
- Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification is required for this position.
- If you’re do not hold an ABA paraprofessional/BT certification or training, please apply to the Behavior Technician role.
- If you do not have an RBT/ABAT/OR BCAT certification, you must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment.
- Maintain an active RBT/ABAT/BCAT as a requirement for continued employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- This job requires a CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- This job requires a TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year).
- This job requires a background check (FBI & DOJ)
