Registered Behavior Technician - Bardstown, KY

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a home/school setting.
• Teach self-help skills, language/communication skills, and social skills to clients with autism across the lifespan in a 1:1 and group setting.
• Implement behavior intervention plans to decrease maladaptive behaviors.
• Collect data electronically on individualized treatment goals.
• Provide daily written and verbal progress notes on treatment goals.
• Communicate, orally and in a written form, in a clear and effective manner – with clients, families, and coworkers.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops (as assigned by your supervisors) to acquire further knowledge.

Qualifications for the Position

• Being capable of lifting 50lbs.
• Living in the state of Kentucky or Indiana.
• Performing physical activity.
• Holding a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• RBT Certification, Experience, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or related field preferred.
• Able to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
• Able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Able to develop and maintain professional relationships.
• Able to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Able to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws.
• Able to commit to ongoing training and development.
