Registered Behavior Technician

About the role

At Upstate Caring Partners, we're seeking enthusiastic, compassionate professionals to support children and adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As an RBT, you'll provide high-quality, direct ABA services, coach and support fellow staff, contribute to assessments and behavior plans, and help create positive, supportive environments where people can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Teach independence through communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Apply ABA strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and build new, meaningful skills.
• Collect, graph, and analyze data to guide treatment and demonstrate progress.
• Collaborate within a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to person-centered care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Demonstrated experience implementing ABA programs and coaching peers on protocol implementation (preferred).
• Strong data collection, graphing, and reporting skills; comfort preparing data summaries for team reviews.
• Excellent computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to give/receive performance feedback.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant and to follow supervisory guidance.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Driver’s License required.
• Travel required.

Pay

$23.06/hour for full-time positions in school programs.
