About the role
We established Lighthouse Behavioral Health, LLC in 2017, as a multi-disciplinary practice that focuses on both mental health and applied behavior analysis.
Our clinical focus has been on the impact that adverse life experiences and trauma have on both the mind and body. At Lighthouse Behavioral Health, LLC we provide therapy to individuals, couples and families. In addition to traditional "talk" therapy, our clinicians may suggest various modalities for treatment depending on the needs of each individual client. Some of these various techniques may include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and various expressive arts.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct ABA with individual clients, implementing interventions for skill acquisition and behavior reduction as directed by the BCBA
- Delivering ABA across multiple environments including home, school, and community
- Collecting electronic data both accurately and effectively as it relates to the program created by the BCBA
- Communicate effectively with supervising BCBA/BCaBA
- Implement parent training to support children and adolescents reach behavioral goals and increase quality of life.
Qualifications
- Certificate, Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a behavioral health or related field.
- Previous work experience with children with behavioral or developmental disabilities
- Maintain reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance
- Additional certification may be required.
- Relevant experience preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Current RBT certification (Required)
- Florida Approved Medicaid Provider (Required)
