About the role

If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young adults, Keystone Achievements is looking for you as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This role involves providing 1:1 ABA therapy, implementing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), managing behavioral events, collecting and inputting data, and partnering with families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy with students between the ages of 3 and 21 years of age under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using Natural Environment Teaching (NET).
  • Manage behavioral events with professionalism and apply Safety-Care techniques for de-escalation.
  • Collect and input data to monitor progress and collaborate with the BCBA to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Partner with families through compassionate engagement and support parent training for continuity of care.
  • Embrace the therapeutic philosophy and organization's culture of compassion and self-development.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or higher.
  • Age: 21+.
  • Background Check: Must pass national and local checks.
  • Driver’s License: Colorado License preferred for state licensing.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift/support up to 75 lbs. and actively engage with students (standing, kneeling, running, jumping).
  • Connection & Creativity: Ability to connect and engage children through creative play.
  • Attention to Detail: Promote safety and growth through situational awareness.
  • Patience, Empathy, Resilience: Essential for supporting children with special needs.
  • Passion & Motivation: Desire to make a meaningful impact and grow in ABA.
  • Flexible Thinking: Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
  • Technology: Intermediate knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass the exam within 6 weeks from date of hire.
  • Comprehensive Training: Registered Behavior Technicians receive intentional training with students over 9-12 hours per student.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Full-time Registered Behavior Technicians with open availability are guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
