Registered Behavior Technician

About the role

Carry On Therapy is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) across Tennessee. We provide ABA services that focus on real life, real families, and meaningful progress. This position is for candidates who already hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. We understand the importance of balance, mentorship, and realistic expectations. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, or clinic settings
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Collect and record data on client progress
• Collaborate with families and clinical team members
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and safe session environment

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (required at time of application)
• High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
• Experience working with children or in ABA is helpful
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally

Pay

$20–$24 per hour starting pay, based on experience. RBTs with additional experience may discuss higher pay.

Schedule

Full-Time (30+ hours per week) or Part-Time. Flexible scheduling based on availability.

• Hire‑On Bonus: $250 hire‑on bonus may be available for qualified candidates who hold an active RBT certification, live in or are willing to actively work in the service area, have evening availability, and are available for a full‑time schedule or evening hours 4‑8 pm. Bonus eligibility reviewed during hiring process; paid after successfully serving a client for 45 days.
• Referral Bonus: $200 referral bonus for RBTs or BCBAs referred to Tennessee or Nebraska. Paid once the referral joins the team and remains employed for at least 60 days.
