Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement individualized care plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.
- Collect data on client progress and behavior as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
- Background in special education or related fields is a plus.
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and individualized care plans.
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A valid RBT certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
Current Availability Needs
We are currently seeking candidates available during after-school hours, from 4 PM to 8 PM.
