Responsibilities

  • Provide ABA therapy under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to individuals with various developmental, social, and emotional diagnoses.
  • Tailor therapy to each individual based on their interests and needs.
  • Deliver therapy primarily at our clinic in Buena Vista, with opportunities for generalization in various settings including homes, schools, community programs, and telehealth.
  • Receive paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Advance your career through a clear path of training, supervision, and potential BCaBA or BCBA certification.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
  • Pass a felony background check and previous employment verification.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, kneel, and engage in active physical play with children.
  • A valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Qualifications

  • An active RBT certification.
  • Bilingual fluency.
  • A degree in psychology, education, human services, or a related field.
  • Current enrollment in BCBA coursework.
