About the role

Colorado Autism Consultants is dedicated to making ABA therapy accessible to everyone in our state. We seek Behavior Technicians who share our commitment to helping individuals with developmental, social, and emotional challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to individuals with various diagnoses.
  • Tailor therapy sessions to each individual’s interests and needs.
  • Deliver therapy primarily at our clinic in Burlington, with opportunities for generalization in clients' homes, communities, schools, day programs, and telehealth settings.
  • Receive paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Advance your career through a structured Registered Apprenticeship Program, including supervision, mentorship, hands-on experience, and tuition assistance.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
  • Clear felony background check and previous employment verification.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, kneel, and engage in active physical play with children.
  • A valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Qualifications

  • An active RBT certification.
  • Bilingual fluency.
  • A degree in psychology, education, human services, or a related field.
  • Current enrollment in BCBA coursework.
