Registered Behavior Technician

About the role

We are seeking Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to individuals with various developmental, social, and emotional diagnoses. Therapy is tailored to each individual’s interests and grounded in evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Tailor therapy to meet each individual’s unique needs
• Engage in generalization activities within the client’s home, community, school, day programs, and telehealth settings
• Participate in a Registered Apprenticeship Program to gain the necessary skills and supervision to become a BCBA

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• GED or high school diploma
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
• Clear felony background check and previous employment verification
• The ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, kneel, and engage in active physical play with children
• A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and MVR record

Qualifications

• An active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Bilingual fluency
• A degree in psychology, education, human services, or a related field
• Current enrollment in BCBA coursework
