About the role
We are seeking Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to individuals with various developmental, social, and emotional diagnoses. Therapy is tailored to each individual’s interests and grounded in evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide ABA therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Tailor therapy to meet each individual’s unique needs
- Engage in generalization activities within the client’s home, community, school, day programs, and telehealth settings
- Participate in a Registered Apprenticeship Program to gain the necessary skills and supervision to become a BCBA
Requirements
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- GED or high school diploma
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Clear felony background check and previous employment verification
- The ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, kneel, and engage in active physical play with children
- A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and MVR record
Qualifications
- An active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Bilingual fluency
- A degree in psychology, education, human services, or a related field
- Current enrollment in BCBA coursework
