Registered Behavior Technicians play an important role in helping children and their families receive the therapy services that they need in a fun and exciting location!
Responsibilities
- Direct client care and provide high-quality early intervention services with support and direction from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Implement Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in an outpatient clinic setting, home-based or school/community setting.
- Develop and identify resources and support information for patients and their families.
- Provide detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system to ensure appropriate billing of services provided.
- Discuss appropriate referrals for additional patient services, as needed, with BCBA.
- Complete all documentation and supervisory requirements as required by state board for RBT.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.
- Participate in therapy meetings as scheduled.
- Attend CEU trainings as needed to maintain professional license requirements.
- Comply with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- A High school Diploma or GED.
- Current RBT certification a plus!
- Experience in a pediatric environment (daycares, schools, etc.).
- An individual who thrives on being part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
