Registered Behavior Technician

About the role

Aspire is launching a new ABA service line and is seeking 1-2 foundational RBTs to join the ground floor. You will work closely with experienced BCBAs and collaborate with other therapists including speech, OT, and PT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 treatment using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Guide children through skill-building activities that promote growth and reduce challenging behaviors
• Support the success and development of clients and their families
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including ABA, speech, OT, PT, and mental health professionals

Requirements

• Age: 18+
• Education: High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education preferred
• Experience: Prior BT experience required; 1+ years of experience preferred
• Dependability: Reliable for children's success
• Integrity: Work in families' homes without constant supervision
• Engaging: Positive engagement with children needing support
• Communication: Professional and timely session notes
• Availability: Full-time, consistent availability (30+ hours, Monday - Friday)
• Physical ability: Lift up to 50 lbs, assist with client needs, perform various physical postures
• Basic computer skills: Email, Google Docs, data entry
• Reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Prior BT experience required; 1+ years of experience preferred

Schedule

Full-time, consistent availability (30+ hours, Monday - Friday)
