Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients at home, school, and community settings.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and progress during each session.
- Complete timely, individualized session notes that meet company and payer standards.
- Communicate effectively with your BCBA Supervisor regarding client progress and any challenges.
- Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment during therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
- Adhere to BACB guidelines, ethics, and all regulatory and funding source requirements.
Requirements
- Must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification issued by the BACB.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
- Strong observational, data collection, and communication skills.
- Comfortable using ABA software and Microsoft 365 applications on a personal device (phone/tablet/laptop).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally.
- Able to perform the physical tasks of the role, including lifting up to 35 lbs. and staying active with children throughout sessions.
