This position is based in the United States and focuses on driving revenue growth by building and expanding strategic distribution partnerships across an assigned territory. About the role

The ideal candidate will combine strong sales expertise, executive-level relationship management, and a deep understanding of employee benefits or channel-driven sales environments. You will work closely with brokers, partners, and internal stakeholders to create business plans, accelerate market adoption, and exceed growth objectives. This remote individual contributor role offers autonomy to manage your territory while collaborating with a global, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, including bookings, revenue growth, market penetration, and key performance objectives.
  • Identify, recruit, develop, and onboard new distribution partners within the assigned territory.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers, employee benefits partners, and key industry stakeholders to drive new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with distribution partners to align sales strategies and growth initiatives.
  • Educate partners and internal teams on product offerings, value propositions, and effective sales approaches.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and sales enablement support throughout the customer journey.
  • Monitor partner performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement initiatives to increase productivity and results.
  • Manage partner-related challenges, including sales conflicts and pricing discussions, with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate territory plans and proactively identify opportunities to expand market reach.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, preferably within employee benefits, insurance, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage brokers, HR leaders, security professionals, and senior decision-makers.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute effective territory and business development plans.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable managing priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Ability to travel extensively and accommodate short-notice travel requirements.
  • Experience with insurance, benefits administration, identity protection, or cybersecurity solutions is highly preferred.
  • Ability to understand complex products and clearly communicate their value to different audiences.
