Regional Vice President
About the Role
The Regional Vice President (RVP) provides spiritual leadership, ministry direction, training, resources, and support for field staff and volunteers to achieve the vision and mission of FCA. The RVP ensures the expansion and development of staff, leadership boards, and financial resources while modeling FCA values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork, and Excellence. This role fosters organizational unity and synergy between field staff and the Support Center, ensuring ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and FCA policies.
Ministerial Duties
- Agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement.
- Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
- Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
- Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs.
Ministry Advancement
Ensure FCA engages, equips, and empowers coaches and athletes by ministering to and through the coach with Huddles, One-on-Ones, and Events.
Talent Advancement
- Recruit: Assist staff in actively recruiting and attracting highly qualified staff prospects aligned with vision-based staffing plans.
- Hire: Select candidates based on calling, character, competence, commitment, and chemistry for specific roles.
- Train: Provide knowledge and resources to develop staff, Board Chairs, and volunteers, increasing their capacity and competence.
- Develop: Prepare staff to lead self, others, teams, and organizationally, fostering personal and professional growth for future opportunities.
Donor and Board Advancement
- Assist staff in recruiting, training, and developing effective and diverse Leadership Board Chairs and Board Members committed to praying, serving, and giving.
- Ensure staff have a strategy to connect, communicate, and care for Board Members and donors at local, regional, and organizational levels.
- Serve as the chief fundraiser and financial manager, ensuring staff establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan.
- Train and develop staff in growing Home Teams, Major Donors, and Events.
International Advancement
Coordinate with the Regional Director of International Advancement (RDIA) to connect the region with US or Global regions through praying, giving, and going.
