Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrity and quality of high-performing certified training environments and certified TGMs/TOPs.
  • Prepares TGMs/TOPs to execute with integrity through regular analysis and touchpoints with each TGM/TOP, development calls with all TGMs/TOPs, and in-person onboarding for new TGMs/TOPs with guided support/coaching through first MIT.
  • Maintain the integrity and quality of a high performing, in market, training ecosystem; validate field training infrastructure is in place and is executing roles as designed (TGM/TOP, AGM/Market Lead, Team Lead).
  • Partner with DROs and RVP to address gaps in execution.
  • High impact training environment visit to assess training integrity, quality of environment, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Partner with TOP/DRO to diagnose and prescribe solutions based on operational gaps identified during visit.
  • Evaluate & sign off on new training environments proposed by Director, Retail Operations (DRO) and approved by RVP and recertify/decertify as appropriate.
  • Monitor market and regional training execution; share insights and recommendations with GMs and DROs to bridge gaps.
  • Share feedback and trends with Sr. Manager, Divisional Training Partners for Divisional and Enterprise visibility and analysis.
  • Validate key initiatives training executed as designed. Specific role in key initiative training will vary by initiative.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Talent Development or Operations manager at a TGM or multi-unit level.
  • 5 or more years of talent development or training experience, preferably in service or hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding oral (particularly presentation) and written communication skills.
  • High energy, flexible, and ability to travel.
  • Highly collaborative spirit with ability to work effectively with diverse groups including a variety of levels & departments within the organization.
  • Experience and success implementing processes and programs from introduction to realization.
  • Excellent execution and follow up skills.
  • Experience in presenting to groups and developing business strategies to expand current services and identify new opportunities.
  • Basic computer skills required (MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Working Conditions

  • 75% travel to cafes, including overnight and out-of-state travel if needed to reach locations.
  • Work week may include nights / weekend.

  • While performing this job, the incumbent is regularly required to stand, sit, talk hear & use hands and fingers to operate keyboards.
