About the role

The Regional Training Director plays a crucial role in the development, coordination, supervision, and delivery of training programs in the Southern Region of Star View Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all staff training and attendance.
  • Regularly deliver training sessions to both groups and individuals.
  • Create opportunities to host trainings for other professionals or collaborate with external organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with County staff, universities, and other organizations to assess training needs, secure qualified trainers, and develop joint training initiatives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a mental health field is required; a master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of direct service experience working with individuals with severe mental health disorders.
  • One (1) year of clinical supervisory experience in an outpatient, hospital, or residential setting (preferred).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience conducting clinical training or overseeing a training program (preferred).
  • A valid California Driver’s License and Pro-ACT certification.

Qualifications

Pay

$95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
