Regional Team Coordinator

Remuneration: $31.11 per hour + Superannuation + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take-home pay)

Lifeline Queensland is part of a national network bringing hope to Australians doing it tough. Around 750 lives are lost to suicide every year in Queensland. Through our state-wide footprint of crisis support, training, and retail services, and the compassionate offer of support, we can save lives.
As a Regional Team Coordinator, you’ll be encouraged to grow, develop, and feel empowered, contributing to the meaningful work of Queensland’s leading charity retail brand. Every day, our 120 stores across Queensland sell donated goods, giving pre-loved items a second life and bringing in profit to support our Crisis Support Line and suicide prevention services.
Responsibilities
- Act as the integral link between the store, warehouse, and the Regional Business Manager/s.
- Provide a wide range of administrative support to Regional Business Manager/s, requiring a high degree of judgement, initiative, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
- Undertake the processing of a range of general financial functions and record management services to support the Regional Business Managers.
- Assist with the implementation of initiatives to improve our service offering, such as Communications strategy, event management to maximise revenue potential, and process improvements and efficiencies.
- Coordinate and manage all facets of the operations administration to meet required deadlines and changing business priorities.
- Support the Regional Business Manager/s in reporting and overseeing information provided for WHS, Workforce Reporting and Rostering, Accounts management, and other compliance activities as required.

Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to apply professional knowledge of administrative support practices and procedures and to work within the statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to UnitingCare Community.
- Demonstrated ability to process a range of financial transactions and maintain financial records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with people at all levels in a variety of situations.
- Ability to work within the beliefs, mission, values, and policies of UnitingCare Community and experience in providing a customer-led approach to support across a diverse range of responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience in rostering and timekeeping principles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and mentor effective staff teams working within established budget, direction, and guidelines.
