Regional Supply Chain Manager
About the role
This role serves as a Regional Supply Chain Manager for Indiana University Health, managing supply distribution, linen and equipment distribution, inventory control, patient billing, and receiving for assigned areas. The manager also supports other organizational functions such as the print shop, mail services, and courier services. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and continuously improving operational methods, systems, and staff through analysis and evaluation. The manager is responsible for recommending and implementing system and process improvements, promoting staff development, and ensuring service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manages staff and processes related to supply distribution, linen and equipment distribution, inventory control, patient billing and receiving for the assigned areas.
- Serves as a resource for the overall operations of the organization, supporting functions including the print shop, mail services, and courier services.
- Aids in planning, directing, and continuous improvement through on-going analysis and evaluation of efficiency and effectiveness of existing methods, systems, and staff.
- Recommends system and process improvements and implements changes.
- Promotes and manages staff development and service excellence programs for assigned areas.
Requirements
- Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent years of experience, with a Master's Degree preferred.
- Must have the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment and obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 2 weeks of first day.
- Requires previous ERP or Warehouse Management System experience.
- Requires long periods of standing and heavy pushing and pulling.
- Continuous ability to: lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist; lift up to 20 pounds from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 pounds.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time, onsite role with a Monday-Friday day shift at Methodist Hospital. There is limited weekend coverage responsibility.
