Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight to the Region’s staff, taking care to govern the region according to data gleaned from eCasenotes.
- Read/approve notes, approve/submit OTRs and review discharge summaries, as needed.
- Partner with the Executive Team on establishing benchmarks and growth opportunities for the region.
- Attend external meetings to market services, increase business & strengthen partner relationships.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Assessors, Therapists, CSIs/Paraprofessionals and other staff in addressing client management, crisis intervention and emergencies to ensure adherence to professional standards and policies.
- Assure coordination and collaboration among all programs and services, supporting an integrated case management approach to client services.
- Ensure staff compliance with Medicaid, State and County standards and processes, including documentation, billing and QA.
- Ensure client confidentiality and privacy, including client records.
- Conduct Quality Assurance through documentation review, peer review and related activities to ensure quality of services.
- Contribute to the development of client-sensitive policies and procedures, supporting the delivery of programs and services.
- Actively work with local, state, federal and private-sector representatives to develop resources and support for programs and services.
- Attend required meetings and training as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Licensed Eligible (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, etc.) in the state of Georgia (preferred).
- Experience supervising clinicians who provide mental health, home-based and/or community counseling services; knowledge of mental health CORE and DFCS services.
- Ability to manage, coach and evaluate staff regarding their ability and effectiveness in providing/arranging appropriate services for clients.
- Experience meeting compliance standards for federal, state and local government contracts and grant requirements.
- Experience in/familiarity with GA Medicaid procedures, including billing and documentation.
- Experience in program planning, development, implementation and evaluation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Georgia driver's license; ability and willingness to travel off site.
