Regional Social Groups Sales Manager
Unique Vacations, Inc. — an affiliate of the worldwide representative for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts — is seeking a forward-thinking Regional Social Group Sales Manager to join its Miami-based, in-house team. We provide exclusive marketing, public relations, advertising, promotions, and creative services to showcase the Luxury Included® experience that guests have adored for over 40 years.
About the role
The Regional Social Group Sales Manager will identify and develop new group business opportunities, cultivate leads, build relationships, and provide exceptional service to new accounts. The position requires an outgoing, positive, professional attitude, strong communication and time management skills, teamwork, and the ability to travel extensively, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Identify, reach, and influence key decision makers in assigned territory through outside sales calls, in-market promotional events, and other proactive sales initiatives.
- Increase social and wedding group business in assigned territory.
- Partner with Regional Directors and Business Development Managers on travel agent events and trade shows targeting the groups market.
- Attend workshops, conventions, and dinners to promote groups.
- Collaborate with CRC and PSA travel agents to promote niche market groups.
- Conduct site inspections, schedule and participate in FAM (familiarization) trips.
- Attend annual worldwide sales meeting.
- Work efficiently and effectively from a remote position.
- Travel extensively domestically and internationally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Sales & Marketing position with a 5-star hotel or hotel group.
- Previous Caribbean resort experience.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and results-driven focus.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Self-confident, proactive, and able to prioritize and make effective decisions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Delphi, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally, including weekends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience in management or business.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of administrative management or leadership experience.
