Regional Sales Manager – West Coast
About the role
The Cary Company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow their Western region, covering Arizona, Nevada, California, Washington, and Utah. This role provides leadership responsibility for a team of outside sales representatives across key industrial and distribution markets, with direct impact on regional performance, team development, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Learns, coaches, and mentors a team of outside sales representatives
- Owes forecasting, pipeline health, and regional performance metrics
- Buys strong relationships with key accounts and strategic prospects
- Comfortable managing a dense, multi-state territory with frequent travel
- Presents closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Brings a disciplined, positive, and results-driven leadership style
Requirements
- Proven success in sales leadership, ideally within industrial, packaging, or B2B distribution environments
- Experience managing multi-state or regional sales teams
- Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills
- Confidence negotiating and closing complex opportunities

Pay
Compensation Base Salary: $120,000–$165,000 (commensurate with experience)
Bonus Program: Performance-based bonuses tied to team and regional results
Additional Incentives: Rewards for new customer acquisition and key performance milestones
Schedule
Field-oriented leadership role requiring regular travel throughout the region
