About the role
The Regional Sales Manager for the Southern Region will spearhead the growth and development of the watch category across the designated retail network. This role focuses primarily on Hermès retail boutiques, with occasional engagement across external points of sale. The position involves travel of up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Champion the growth of the timepiece category across the assigned regional network, positioning Hermès watches for sustained success.
- Commercial Strategies: Design and implement targeted commercial strategies encompassing product assortment, stock management, operational efficiency, and client engagement.
- Commercial Activations: Lead impactful commercial activations and oversee in-store animations and events that elevate brand visibility and drive sales.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct performance analysis to identify growth opportunities and submit monthly reporting on regional achievements, market insights, and strategic adjustments.
- Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with boutique teams and cross-functional departments—including Merchandising, Communications, and Logistics—to ensure unified stock positioning, brand messaging, and regional consistency.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the regional Watch Master, providing in-depth expertise and hands-on support during client appointments, product launches, and special events.
- Training & Coaching: Cultivate a vibrant and engaged community of Watch Ambassadors, fostering connection, enthusiasm, and shared expertise.
- Product Knowledge: Drive the development of product knowledge, storytelling techniques, and consultative selling skills within store teams to enhance client experience and conversion.
- Visual Merchandising: Guarantee exceptional presentation of Hermès timepieces across all client-facing touchpoints, reflecting the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and elegance.
- Budget & Planning: Develop and implement a structured annual visitation schedule that aligns with Travel & Entertainment (T&E) budget guidelines and supports commercial priorities.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in retail
- Preferrable expertise in timepieces and familiarity with key industry players
- Strong commercial acumen with insight into competitors and trends
- Proven sales generation through strategic initiatives and project development
- Creative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Independent self-starter with collaborative team spirit
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office; design software
- French proficient a plus, but not required
- Effective multitasker with strong prioritization, budgeting skills, and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of inventory systems and commercial KPIs
- Clear communicator with polished presentation and public speaking ability
- Willingness to travel regularly and manage dynamic POS schedules

Pay
The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
Schedule
This position is based remotely within the Southern Region and entails travel of up to 50%.
