Regional Sales Manager, OEM

This remote role covers the West & Central region of Florida and reports to the National Sales Manager, Saltwater.
About the role
As Regional Sales Manager on the Dometic Marine OEM Saltwater team, you will drive sales for key product categories: Ride & Handling, Boat Living, and Mobile Power Solutions. You will manage assigned OEM accounts, deeply understand customer applications to support strategic selling, and build strong relationships with key boat builders. You may also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical knowledge and support across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage, grow, and ensure accountability for assigned OEM accounts within the territory, fostering strong customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Understand customer needs and applications to support value-based selling by aligning product solutions with customer challenges.
- Drive sales through a customer-focused approach, emphasizing Dometic’s unique value proposition in OEM applications.
- Collaborate with the Aftermarket (AM) team to manage key OEM dealers and provide a seamless customer journey from OEM integration to post-sales support.
- Manage the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and new business objectives.
- Lead product demonstrations, showcasing technical advantages and aligning features with customer needs while engaging multiple stakeholders.
- Monitor and report competitive actions that could impact business to key stakeholders.
- Partner with marketing, engineering, and product management teams to develop customer solutions and refine product offerings based on market feedback.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, trade organizations, and boat dealer networks.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned product categories, providing technical expertise and supporting the team with in-depth product knowledge (when assigned).
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B or marine sales experience, with a proven track record in OEM sales.
- Strong technical knowledge, with expertise in Ride & Handling, Boat Living, and/or Mobile Power Solutions preferred.
- Demonstrated success in managing accounts, closing sizable contracts, and developing strong customer relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office and other business software.
