Regional Sales Manager (Manhattan Region)
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales, support and oversight of all ayrloom branded products to licensed dispensaries in the assigned region. This position is full-time and exempt, reports directly to the Sales Director, and has a pay range of $80,000 – $90,000.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary brand ambassador for ayrloom within the assigned region, representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
- Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to drive the distribution, visibility, and velocity of ayrloom products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers to ensure comprehensive representation of the ayrloom portfolio across the region.
- Establish and maintain direct communication channels with owners, buyers, and inventory managers at all designated dispensaries.
- Prepare and submit bi-weekly business plans to effectively manage and track regional performance.
- Actively participate in weekly sales conference calls to align strategies and share market insights.
- Plan, market, and coordinate events, including in-store consumer activations, budtender training sessions, festivals, and other brand awareness initiatives, partnering with Field Marketers on staffing coverage and execution.
- Represent ayrloom at industry events, trade shows, and advocacy functions as needed.
- Collaborate closely with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure efficient order placement and timely deliveries.
- Ensure that ayrloom branding and merchandising (both physical and digital) meet company standards in dispensaries and at consumer-facing events.
- Leverage the company's tech stack, including LeafLink, Acumatica, Nabis, HubSpot, BDSA, LitAlerts, and Claude, to execute sales tasks, monitor sales trends, and efficiently manage the book of business.
- Maintain and manage a monthly work expense account in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor account-level AR status, including credit holds and no-ship designations, and proactively communicate payment requirements to customers in coordination with the AR team.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- Valid driver's license (a company vehicle will be provided for this position).
- Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with co-workers and vendors in a professional and helpful manner in person, via phone, or written correspondence.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
- Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-term goals.
- Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Physical Exertion
Moderate Work — Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Work may include loading and unloading cases of product, setting up product displays, and lifting, lowering, and moving product.
Environmental Conditions
The frequency and duration of indoor and outdoor work may vary based on position, location, and operational needs.
- Indoor Work: Indoor environments may include exposure to temperature variations, such as unheated or non-air-conditioned areas.
- Outdoor Work: Outdoor work may involve exposure to weather conditions and seasonal temperature changes.
Travel
Regular Travel — This position requires regular travel which may include daily travel to stores, accounts, or business locations.
