Regional Sales Manager - CertainTeed Residential Roofing & Siding Products
Why We Need You
CertainTeed is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for its Residential Roofing and Siding Products. This is a remote role, but preferred candidates should reside in the South Central Wisconsin or Minneapolis Minnesota Metro Area to effectively support the business territory.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Accountable for annual sales and profitability targets (may include other goals such as product mix, market share, distribution and pricing decisions)
- Provide leadership including coaching, training, and development of Territory Managers (TMs)
- Strategic account planning and collaborative development with TMs
- Manage relationships with high-level major accounts
- Escalate and resolve pricing, product, and service issues internally
- Analyze market, customer, and product mix to optimize effectiveness
- Deliver effective presentations and demonstrations emphasizing customer benefits and provide timely feedback to marketing regarding market opportunities, competitive intelligence, and product requirements
- Develop agendas and conduct regional sales meetings; plan and organize promotional programs with TMs for execution and provide close support towards distributor sales efforts
Is This Job For You?
- Bachelor's Degree Required with 10+ years relevant work experience
- Progressive experience in sales and/or marketing in supporting business strategy and the development of sales plans by territory
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated success selling through distribution channels
- Ability to prioritize and organize
- Superior leadership, competitive spirit, and desire to win
- Strong strategic-thinking and decision-making capabilities necessary
- Prior proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, penetrating new markets, and developing new business

Benefits

- Base pay range: $165,500 to $264,500 per year with a targeted bonus of 24% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures
- Total Target Cash range: $205,200 to $327,900 per year
- Eligible for an annual bonus and participation in the Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program awarded annually at management’s discretion
