About the Role
As a Regional Sales Manager, your goal is to drive sales growth, foster innovation, and establish Millennium Control Systems as a trusted provider. By understanding market needs, building strong relationships, and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies, you can position Millennium for long-term success in your account package industries.
Responsibilities
- Handle the full quoting process from initial inquiry through to post-sale support.
- Research your account package industries to understand market dynamics, competitors, and opportunities; identify gaps for Millennium’s solutions.
- Build and maintain client relationships in your account package sectors; understand and address their needs and challenges.
- Work with the team to enhance or develop new equipment that meets industry requirements and is cost-effective.
- Create and execute sales plans to enter target markets, acquire customers, and boost market share; tailor pitches to key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns and materials that showcase your products; utilize trade shows, online platforms, and industry publications.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable terms and resolving issues during the sales process.
- Provide training and support to staff, distributors, and end-users on product usage and promotion.
- Monitor and analyze sales, market trends, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
- Ensure products meet industry regulations and standards.
- Represent the company at industry events to build connections and enhance visibility.
Requirements
- Two (2) or more years of experience in Automation & Controls Sales.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of industry sales experience.
Additional Information
This is a hybrid position; employees are expected to work from the office 4 days per week and 1 day remote. Domestic travel requirements are 30–40%. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. Ability to travel internationally when required is necessary.
