Regional Sales Manager
About the role
You will lead and manage a sales team to achieve established targets and objectives while also managing some of your own accounts. This position focuses on retaining and growing revenue across all Ford Office Technologies products and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and hold a sales team accountable for performance (LMA).
- Generate net new major accounts.
- Maintain and expand current client relationships.
- Ensure accurate team forecasting.
- Achieve team revenue targets.
- Guide the sales team in obtaining new leads, generating client meetings, and presenting and closing sales proposals.
- Manage daily, monthly, and annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and hold the team accountable.
- Act as a consultant to clients, addressing pain points and delivering solutions using FOT prescribed products and services.
- Coordinate internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver solutions.
- Lead the sales cycle from quote to order, including proposals, walk-throughs, order presentation, and delivery.
- Maintain client communications, pipeline, and forecast using the CRM tool.
- Conduct performance assessments for sales team members, providing feedback and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Ensure the sales team operates in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions as the company grows.
Requirements
- Two or more years of direct supervisory responsibilities in sales.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Four or more years of sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
