Regional Sales Manager
Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager based in North Carolina, with up to 75% travel including moderate overnight stays.
About the role
The Regional Sales Manager drives annual sales growth of Busch products and services within an assigned North Carolina territory, aligning with the strategic plan set by the US Sales Director.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned sales territory to maintain existing business, develop new business, and ensure annual sales growth.
- Develop, manage, and train sales channels.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support sales opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with end users and OEM accounts.
- Maintain account profiles for Top Tier accounts and an electronic customer database.
- Create and execute a yearly target account list for the territory.
- Maintain company records, files, and a company vehicle in good working condition.
- Use expense accounts judiciously.
- Dedicate a majority of time to planning, preparing, and conducting face-to-face customer visits.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience, with a high preference for vacuum or rotating industrial capital equipment.
- Sales experience within food processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, or aeronautical manufacturing is highly preferred.
- High degree of technical/mechanical proficiency and aptitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business is highly preferred; applicable experience may substitute.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability and willingness to pass a 9-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal history check (felonies typically disqualify; misdemeanors reviewed case-by-case).
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and utilize required PPE as needed.

Physical Requirements

- Must wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, electrical hazards protection, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Pay
Targeted base salary range: $100,000–$110,000 annually, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience. Total compensation includes a Sales Commission Plan.
Work Environment
