About the role

The Regional Sales Director will lead, coach, and mentor a team of Senior Account Executives in selling Workday's solutions to existing customers. Key responsibilities include driving new business, orchestrating cross-functional teams, and positioning Workday as a preferred cloud partner.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition and manage complex sales cycles
  • Lead a team of Senior Account Executives in achieving sales targets
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve performance and skillset
  • Position Workday as a viable cloud solution compared to legacy ERP systems

Requirements

  • 2+ years of field sales management experience at a SaaS company
  • 8+ years of field sales experience selling cloud/ SaaS/ ERP solutions
  • 5+ years of experience as a leader in a team selling environment

Qualifications

  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs
  • Experience in pulling together different business units to maximize sales
  • Ability to maintain accurate forecasting data and business models
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment

Schedule

Flex Work: Spend at least 50% of time each quarter in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, and partners. Remote roles also have opportunities to come together in offices for important moments.
