About the role
The Regional Sales Director will lead, coach, and mentor a team of Senior Account Executives in selling Workday's solutions to existing customers. Key responsibilities include driving new business, orchestrating cross-functional teams, and positioning Workday as a preferred cloud partner.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition and manage complex sales cycles
- Lead a team of Senior Account Executives in achieving sales targets
- Coach and mentor team members to improve performance and skillset
- Position Workday as a viable cloud solution compared to legacy ERP systems
Requirements
- 2+ years of field sales management experience at a SaaS company
- 8+ years of field sales experience selling cloud/ SaaS/ ERP solutions
- 5+ years of experience as a leader in a team selling environment
Qualifications
- Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs
- Experience in pulling together different business units to maximize sales
- Ability to maintain accurate forecasting data and business models
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
